Located in the beautiful village of East Wittering, West Sussex We offer a Private Members Club which is a safe family friendly Environment with very competitve Prices on Beverages within the club
The club has TV's in every room offering SKY Sports, Racing Channel and BT Sports, Juke Box, Pool, Dart Boards, Pool Table and a full size Snooker Table upstairs. Live Entertainment every Saturday Night.
The club also has free Cloud Wi_FI, and offers a Loyalty Customer Scheme for its members which provides members with discounted drink prices and points earned on purchases which enable you to redeem free drinks. So if you are new to the area come on down, meet new friends and join us.

You do NOT need to have a military background to become a member of the Wittering Royal British Legion Club.
As a private members club, The Wittering Legion Club is affiliated to The Royal British Legion. As part of the Licensing requirements all Club Members must be a Royal British Legion Branch Member before applying as a Club Member.
Your Legion Branch Membership can be completed and paid for online by clicking on the link below.
Once you are registered as a Legion Branch Member you can apply for Club Membership by completing the form which is held within the club.

Branch Renewal is on the Anniversary of your application. You will be notified via mail/Email of your Renewal.
To remain a Club member you must have an up to date Branch Legion Membership.

In addition your Club Membership entitles you to the Club Loyalty Card Scheme

The Club has Parking facilities for Members and their Guests. There is a zoned area for Mobility Scooters.
The club has disabled toilets

The Club complies with the smoking regulations. A covered outside smoking area is provided.

The Club has televisions in all rooms showing Sky and BT Sports, we also offer free Cloud Wi-Fi. There are gaming machines in the main bar a comfortable lounge area with pool table. A full sized Snooker room can be found upstairs.
We have a large function hall for the social and recreation activities for Members, their families and guests. Live Music is provided by the club on Saturday evenings.
The Club has a Juke Box with Internet access to play your favourite songs.
A Pool table is available for members. 2 Dart boards are available.
The Main Bar offers a great selection of Beers, Wines and Spirits, with Snacks and Cold drinks available.
A Loyalty Points scheme is available to members (see membership section)
Tea, a selection of different Coffee's and Hot Chocolate and Bar Snacks are also available.

Do you have a Birthday, Special Event or Wake to Organise.
The function hall is available for weekday hire and Friday Evenings with bar facilities (during licensing hours).
The Function Hall can accommodate up to 80 people. It has a raised platform stage area and Entertainment Management System. This room also has a large drop down screen which can run off a Laptop.
The club has arrangements with outside caterers who can offer Catering arrangements for your event.

FAQ
I cant join the Wittering Legion as I am not ex-Military
Anyone can join the Royal British Legion. You do not have to have a Military Background or be ex forces to join our Legion Club.
Can I bring my Spouse to the Club
As a Club Member you can sign in your spouse.
Can I bring in Guests/Friends who are visiting
As a club member you can sign in any Guest/visitor once per month. You are responsible for their conduct within the club and you must remain within the club until your Guest leaves.
Can I bring in a Guest on Saturday Live Band Nights
You can sign in a Guest on a Saturday Nights Entertainment. The Guest will be subject to a £5 entrance charge to assist with the cost of Entertainment that night.
Can I bring my Dog in
Only Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are permitted inside the Wittering Legion club. There is a covered Area outside and seating if you want to pop down for a drink.
Why cant I just pay the Club Fees
As a private members club, The Wittering Legion Club is affiliated to The Royal British Legion. As part of the Licensing requirements all Club Members must be a Royal British Legion Member. Out of your £30 Membership £21 goes to the Royal British Legion Head Office. The club take £9 which assists in the Yearly Entertainment Bill.
